Stroll through Harbor Way Gardens for a special Sunday open house. Come browse the Plein Air art created by local and regional artists from locations around town. Harbor Island Garden Club members will be on hand to answer questions about plants in the garden and for informal tours. Our cookbook and personalized garden bricks and pavers will also be available for sale.

Tidewater Camellia Club Fall Festival. Nov. 19, 2022. 12p-3p.
It’s sure to be a ‘BLOOMTASTIC’ time at this year’s Tidewater Camellia Club “Fall Festival Camellia Celebration and Sale” @ New Hanover County Arboretum (6206 Oleander Drive, Wilmington. The ever-popular “Tidewater Select” camellia plants of rare and unique cultivars will be on sale starting promptly at 12 p.m. with all 3-gallon plants for just $35. The sale ends when camellias are sold out. NEW events: Scavenger Hunt, Storytime at the Children’s Garden, and a Victorian Tea Party. Sign up at http://www.tidewatercamelliaclub.org. Learn proper planting and caring for your camellias, including pruning, fertilizing, grafting, and air-layering. Mommiez Food Truck on site from Noon until 3 p.m. for all to enjoy.
We are welcoming the public’s blooms to be exhibited. Bring your Japonica and Sasanqua blooms to the Arboretum by 9:30 a.m. on 11/19 to enter them for judging. |

Festival in the Park. Nov. 2022.
Come see us at our booth at the NC Holiday Flotilla Festival in the Park. Our bricks and pavers make great gifts. We'll also have handmade shell dishes and ornaments and soap for sale as well as our cookbook. The festival features craft vendors, bouncy houses, a children's train and car show. The festival features 75 to 90 vendors; a large play area for the children with bouncy houses and slides; the popular and relaxing Arab Choo-Choo train ride; arts and crafts booths; food vendors; and the antique, classic, and special interest car show. The car show has grown tremendously, with over 150 cars expected this year. Look for our pink booth.

Congratulations to the Winners of the Wrightsville Beach Marine Debris Poster Contest
Congratulations to Wrightsville Beach Elementary fourth grade students Brody Bardsley, Sasha Young, Virginia Grey Norvell, Leo Jackson, Hadley Cerrone, Madison Sawyer, Hadley Brown, and Wynn Bartlett (not pictured). They won the Marine Debris poster contest for the Town of Wrightsville Beach. These wonderful works of art will be made into permanent signs and posted at various spots around Wrightsville Beach.
